HOW DOES IT WORK?
Permanent makeup uses FDA-approved, allergy-tested dyes with a mineral extract base that are tinted to match your skin tone. Following the application of a topical anesthesia, your med spa technician will inject these dyes using microneedles. Your procedure can last as little as 30 minutes, depending on the area treated. You get instantly visible results, although you may need more than one session if you’re getting permanent makeup applied to a large area. Most people are fully recovered within one day, although you may need to avoid contact lenses, makeup, and direct sunlight for a few days.

IS THE PROCEDURE PAINFUL?
A topical anesthetic is applied beforehand, so there’s little discomfort involved in the procedure. Most people report a mild tickling sensation, although sensation levels vary by the individual and the area treated.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
In general, we recommend two applications for optimal results, but in some cases, you’ll only need one treatment. This varies by body chemistry, colors chosen, and areas treated.

CAN I WEAR TRADITIONAL MAKEUP OVER THE TATTOOED AREA?
Yes, you can apply traditional makeup, if needed, after the treated area has healed. Because permanent makeup is subtle and designed to enhance your natural features, you may occasionally want to use traditional makeup for a more dramatic look on special occasions. That’s the beauty of permanent cosmetics – you have unlimited options!

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
In most cases, you can return to normal activities immediately after treatment. You will need to apply a thin coat of ointment to the treated area, and you’ll need a follow-up appointment to ensure your treated area is healing properly.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER THE PROCEDURE?
In most cases, you’ll have some swelling in the treatment area, and this varies by the treatment location. For eyebrows, you’ll generally see little swelling, eyeliner areas will swell for about 24 hours and lips may swell for up to 72 hours. You can use a cold compress to minimize the swelling. There may be some tenderness for a few days, and you’ll need to use either an antibiotic cream or Vaseline to keep the area moistened.

Also, note that the color will appear much darker for the first 6 to 10 days.

WHAT’S THE PROCESS?
First, your nails are prepped by being filed down to help the light penetrate, even those that don’t appear to be infected, to make sure that all active and dormant infections are treated.

Next, the device pulses laser energy into the affected nails. At this point, you’ll feel a slight amount of heat. Then, laser pulses are applied to the surrounding nail to completely remove any infection to prevent reoccurrence.

More treatments are done as needed to make sure the fungus is completely gone, then your nails will be given the time to grow back to healthy nails.

There’s no downtime, because the treatments are safe and non-invasive. You won’t see an instant change, because it takes time for the nail to regrow, at which point it will look normal again.

There’s minimal aftercare once all treatments are complete, but until all the fungus is completely gone, please avoid getting professional manicures or pedicures to ensure that you don’t spread the infection. You can, however, apply your own nail polish at home, but

WHAT HAPPENS IF I LEAVE THE FUNGUS UNTREATED?
Unfortunately, untreated fungus will not go away on its own. It can even spread to other nails, or even to your hair, since your hair and nails are both made up of keratin. Untreated nails will become brittle and crack, and eventually they will need to be removed. addressing the problem early is the better solution.

HOW LONG WILL MY TREATMENTS TAKE?
Our intimate lightening treatments take about 30 minutes, and there is no post-treatment downtime. The products we use have only proven active ingredients that lighten and care for your skin in these delicate intimate areas.

In most cases, we recommend a series of four treatments about three to four weeks apart, in addition to home care products as recommended for your individual needs.

Although you may see significant improvement with one session, we recommend packages of multiple treatments for best results.

On the day of your treatment appointment, wear loose-fitting clothing with no underwear. Your procedure will be administered by one of our well-trained, professional med spa technicians in a relaxing, calm, clean environment, with a cooler used to ensure your comfort. You can expect to feel slight tingling sensation during the treatment. You’ll have time to rest and rejuvenate before your treatment session is concluded, and you’ll be given aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results. Treatments normally last about 20 to 30 minutes.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT?
You will likely experience light to moderate peeling, depending on the type of treatment you received. You’ll schedule a second treatment three to four weeks after your first treatment, and you may need to use a lightening kit at home between treatments, depending on your individual needs. Kits help prepare the treated area before the procedure for best results and to help the lightening process between treatments.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Your skin reacts immediately to the micro-channels produced by microneedling, beginning the process of building more collagen and elastin right away. How much of an improvement can I expect?
No treatment can eliminate every scar, but microneedling will significantly diminish the appearance of most stretch marks, including white, red, and purple colored stretch marks. Microneedling works well on many types of scars, including stretch marks.

How many treatments will in need?
This varies according to your individual needs, because some stretch marks are deeper and require more treatments than others. In most cases, we recommend four to six treatments for optimal results.

How long does it take to see results?

Are the Results Permanent?

Is there any downtime after microneedling?
There is little downtime, if any, with Weston HCG Center’s microneedling treatments. In most cases, you can return to your regular activities after your treatment session, although you may have some redness, like a sunburn, or mild swelling in the treated areas. This usually resolves in a few days, and your med spa technician will provide a special serum that you can use in the first few days to minimize these effects.
