The procedure is accomplished using a minimally invasive technique, where our providers place specially formulated threads at a superficial depth beneath the skin, and use the texture of the sutures to provide a gentle, yet effective, lifting of the treated skin. The threads are made up of a safe, dissolvable suture material, very similar to all other sutures used to close interior surgical wounds. Using this technique avoids the longform recovery and risks of a traditional face or body lift. Patients return to normal activities almost immediately following the procedure.

How long results last will vary based on.biological factors within each patient’s body. Typically, the results of a face thread lift will last about 1 year, and up to 2 years in some patients, long past the time the threads are fully absorbed.
The PDO threads stimulate collagen production and slowly lift the skin over time. Results are gradual and most clients start to see significant improvement at the 2-3 month mark.
